Flood protection system keeps London’s Silvertown Tunnel moving

The new Silvertown Tunnel eases congestion across London, but its success relies on staying dry year-round. But keeping the tunnel dry is just as important as keeping traffic moving. To protect this critical transport link, Xylem provided a custom flood-prevention system, installing six pumping stations that collect and safely return stormwater to the Thames. The system strengthens the city’s resilience and keeps traffic moving, no matter the weather.
