Xylem's Smith-Blair 262 Full Circle® Repair Clamp is an all stainless steel, double-band clamp designed to provide 360° pressure and complete leak repair on pipe sizes 3" through 12". Built with fabricated stainless steel lugs and a full circumferential gasket, it delivers reliable sealing performance across a wide range of pipe materials, including Steel, Cast Iron, Asbestos Cement, PVC, Ductile Iron, HDPE*, and more.

Xylem's Smith-Blair 262 Full Circle® Repair Clamp is a double-band stainless steel clamp designed to provide 360° leak repair on 3" through 12" nominal pipe. It repairs complete breaks, splits, cracks, pin holes, and through-wall damage, and can also be used to join plain-end pipes of the same diameter.
Every component of the 262 is fabricated from Type 304 Stainless Steel (ASTM A240), making it purpose-built for corrosive soil environments. The band is 20 gauge for clamps 6.90" diameter and smaller, and 19 gauge for 8.63" and larger. The 10-gauge fingers and lug bars are solution annealed for increased corrosion resistance and strength; long fingers provide up to 0.80" of total range (0.40" per side).
The 262 is certified to NSF/ANSI 61-G & 372 and meets applicable AWWA C230 standards. Optional configurations include: Type 316 Stainless Steel band or full hardware package; alternative gasket materials (Viton, EPDM, and others); offset gaskets for repairing longer cracks using multiple clamps; conductivity feature for bonding continuity; and clamp widths up to 30". Spring washers are available and are required when this product is used on HDPE DR17 or thicker pipe.
NOTE: This product is NOT recommended for use on HDPE pipe DR17 or thinner. Pipe stiffeners are required when joining HDPE and thin wall PVC pipe. This product does not restrain pipe from pulling out of a fitting. Proper anchoring is required.
