The Smith-Blair 248 Redi-Clamp is an all-stainless steel repair clamp designed to repair pin holes, punctures, or splits in PVC, Copper, Steel, Ductile Iron, and HDPE* pipe. This clamp provides an economical and reliable means of restoring essential water services, ensuring your infrastructure remains resilient.

Built for durability in demanding environments, the 248 Redi-Clamp features a Type 304 Stainless Steel band and ASTM A743 GRFC8 Cast Stainless lugs. The Nitrile (Buna N) gasket is compounded to resist oil, natural gas, acids, alkalis, water, and many chemicals. The clamp is bulit to operate effectively in temperatures from -20°F to +180°F. To prevent galling during installation, the 304 Stainless Steel nuts are fluoropolymer coated.

Designed to support your operational needs, this clamp handles working pressures up to 150 PSI. It is available for nominal pipe sizes ranging from 1/2" to 2" and works on Steel, PVC, HDPE, and Copper tube applications.

The clamp provides 360º coverage across the full pipe surface and features drop-in bolts to help ease installation in the trench. Standard widths include 3", 6", 9", and 12".

Note: This product does not restrain pipe movement. Proper anchoring is required to prevent pipe pullout, especially on HDPE applications. Read the product installation instructions prior to installing this product.
