Key Product Features
The Smith-Blair 935 Concrete Pressure Pipe Bell Adapter and 936 Concrete Pressure Pipe Spigot Adapter are fabricated adapters designed for adapting to a different pipe type by making a gasketed and/or welded connection to a CPP (Concrete Pressure Pipe) steel Bell or Spigot. Whether you're joining new pipe material to an existing concrete pressure pipe system or repairing a compromised CPP joint, these adapters give you a dependable transition point in the field.
The 935 Bell and 936 Spigot are each manufactured from Carbon Steel per ASTM A36, fabricated to match your CPP Bell I.D. for a precise fit. The Spigot O-Ring Gasket is made from ¾" diameter Nitrile (Buna-N) per ASTM D2000 with a vulcanized bond. The Body is manufactured from Carbon Steel per ASTM A283 Grade C or ASTM A36, or Carbon Steel with a minimum yield of 30,000 PSI.
These adapters are built for standard CPP sizes ranging from 14" to 60" nominal (15.75" to 65.00" Bell I.D.), with working pressure up to 250 PSI and test pressure up to 375 PSI based on application.
