The scale of the current global hunger and malnutrition crisis is worsening, with over 345 million people worldwide currently facing high levels of food insecurity – more than double the number in 2020. However, indoor horticulture is growing in popularity as a modern solution to many environmental problems that affect food production and food insecurity.

Lowara, through its local distributor Efstratiadis SA, collaborated closely with the internal construction team headed by Dr. Papavasilopoulos Fotios, Managing Director of Olympion Clinic, in order to choose the best re-circulation and pumping solutions.

This project aims to build and calibrate a hydraulic model for trunk mains water systems in selected areas of New Territories East Region and deploy the model through Idrica’s Real-Time What-If-Scenarios solution (now called Xylem Vue).

Leveraging a custom Xylem Flojet G70 pump, B-TEC’s system ensures contamination-free, high-performance spray gun cleaning. The solution boosts reliability, speeds cleaning cycles by 50%, and supports over 20,000 global installations in precision paint environments.

At a Midwest printed circuits manufacturer, achieving optimal water treatment efficiency became a critical concern. The 80,000 square foot facility faced the constant challenge of promptly detecting disruptions in their treatment processes, while also striving to streamline operations, reduce costs, and maintain high product quality.
