Georgia Aquarium, the largest aquarium in the Western Hemisphere, has been committed to work on behalf of all marine life through education, preservation, exceptional animal care and research across the globe since its opening in 2005. Over the last few years, the operation and maintenance of the large valves had declined due to focus being placed on other critical priorities.
