The Blue River WWTP is the largest wastewater treatment plant in the metropolitan region treating an average of 75 million gallons per day (MGD).

Xylem reduces pool combined chlorine
The Bay & Basin Aquatic Centre serves the population of nearby towns, Huskisson and Vincentia which are located between Sydney and Canberra. It features a separate indoor 25 m lap pool and leisure pool with water slide and spas in a modern building nestled in a beautiful bushland setting typical for Australia. As is common in indoor pools of this kind, using sand filtration and liquid chlorine sterilization, the combined chlorine levels built up over time and became resilient to any attempt to remove them.

Xylem services remove perchlorate for a California community
The Lincoln Avenue Water Company needed a treatment system for the removal of perchlorate from their primary wells. The company provides 2,000 gpm of drinking water to the community of Altadena, California. Recent water analysis from the wells indicated perchlorate levels above California's Public Health goal of 6 ppb.
