Rand Water installs chlorine and ammonia dosing equipment
Klomac, the Southern African agent for Wallace & Tiernan® products, has successfully completed the supply and installation of chlorine and ammonia dosing equipment at Rand Water’s Mapleton Pumping Station as part of that station’s upgrading and expansion programme. The Wallace and Tiernan equipment includes four Model V2000™ automatic chlorinators rated at 40 kg/h each, four ammonium hydroxide dosing pumps and GMS chlorine gas leak detection equipment.

Refinery Meets Discharge Requirements For Permit Violations
A Southern California petroleum refinery faced stormwater discharge permit violations for hydrocarbons and heavy metals with a five-day compliance deadline. Xylem rapidly deployed a multi-stage vessel-based system using organoclay, carbon, and ion exchange resins to achieve ppb-level discharge limits, eliminate violations, and restore regulatory compliance within the required timeframe.
