CastAway-CTD Overview and Demo in San Diego Bay

The CastAway^®-CTD is a lightweight, easy-to-use instrument designed for quick and accurate conductivity, temperature, and depth profiles. Each cast is automatically referenced with time and location using its built-in GPS receiver. The CastAway software displays profiles of the casts in addition to mapping the locations of the data collection points. Data integrate directly with RiverSurveyor Live and HYPACK^® software, and can also be exported to MATLAB^® for applying sound speed corrections.
